Gift Card/Gift Holders Using Art Philosophy

Gift Card/Small gift holders just got cuter, simpler and cheaper using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!  I decided to give it a go using "Believe" for each box:  The Cupcake Box, Pillow Box and Chinese Take-Out Box.  I kept the embellishing on the simple side to show how easy it is to put these together - Enjoy!

Baby Shower Gift Idea - Part 2

Here's another baby shower gift idea!  I love making frames for people and had so much fun making this one for my cousins shower this weekend.  I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the background shape and the name.  The kit I used was Topstitch - purchased the frame at Michaels;)

Baby Shower Gift Idea

I'm heading to the first of many upcoming baby showers tomorrow and decided to make a display album (pg. 131 in the Idea Book) for the Mommy to Be.  The theme of the baby room is Dr. Seuss, however, only as an accent - she is using a lot of primary colors and patterns for the decor.  I used Elemental and random pattern paper from other packets to make a cohesive album.  The design for each page has a solid cut out from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to add a bold consistent look throughout the album.

My thought is the Momma to Be can include photos and memories throughout the album, either on the scrapped 6x6 side, or on the blank backing.

Enjoy!

"Elemental" Fun!

I finally have been getting some of my energy back and hit the layouts this weekend.  My goal is to get caught up on my scrapping pre-baby...Lord knows once we know what we are having I'll be focused on projects for the little one!

I used the kit Elemental to scrap the Safari Park trip Graham and I took for our 2nd Anniversary.  We went big and did one of the Caravan tours and had an amazing time!  When we were leaving the park I grabbed a couple of park maps and decided to use those as background and texture paper for my layouts - lets just say I LoVE the versatility of Elemental!  I think it went perfect!!!

I embellished with Journaling Spots, Color-Ready Cork Alphabet and Elemental Complements.

Birthday/Anniversary Project Idea

I have had so much fun the past couple days making an Event Calendar for birthdays and anniversaries!  The greatest thing about this calendar - there is no year, only days so it will never "expire" - Happy Scrappin!

The Event Calendar can be found on page 129 in the Fall/Winter Idea Book
